Nearby
Situated right on one of North Cornwall’s best beaches, this a location that really cannot be beaten. Treyarnon Bay regularly comes top in “Best Of….” beach lists and it’s easy to see why. As one of the areas “Seven Bays for Seven Days” this stunning cove is hugged by dunes and high cliffs. The sandy bay provides a divine spot for a dip, but if calmer waters are more your thing why not try the tidal pool nestled into the rocks, topped up daily by the ocean.
Follow the coast path north and you come to Constantine Bay, an easy ten-minute stroll away, or take the long way round Trevose Head, enjoying views of the lighthouse and the lifeboat station, set amongst the craggy cliffs.
St Merryn village is a short drive away, with plenty of shops and bars including Rick Steins pub, The Cornish Arms. The village is also home to a well-stocked shop, bakery, and surf shop, so all bases are covered! Another five minutes in the car will take you to Padstow, a vibrant harbour town packed full of renowned restaurants, galleries, and a whole host of outdoor activities, perfect for a day out.

We have just got back from the best short break in North Cornwall! We stayed at the Ocean Blue apartments, in the Trebetherick Suite. It was fabulous, minutes from a gorgeous sandy beach and fantastic with the dog. Part of the south west coast path right on the doorstep . The apartment was constantly warm, cosy with every facility. It was spotless with a really comfy lounge area and fabulous bedrooms. We visited Padstow and Wadebridge, had great meals at some local pubs and amazing walks on the coast. Highly recommend.

Perfect location! Just metres from Treyarnon Beach (which we loved) and a short, comfortable walk round to Constantine Bay. Would really recommend this location. The apartment itself was really clean and spacious. The communal areas were comfortable and well equipped. Bathrooms were amazing.

Lovely house, great location. Perfect walled garden so our new puppy could be outside with us and still enjoy the sea view. On days that it rained we all played in the sea close enough to the house that we could come home and have hot showers / baths once the kids got cold. Great walk to the cafe in Constantine Bay. Lovely big kitchen with all mod cons. All in all a great getaway. Would love to stay again.

Inside Space
The Trebetherick is designed for family time. With a large open-plan living dining area opening on to the kitchen, there is ample space for evening boardgames and leisurely breakfasts, or just cosying up after a hard day at the beach. Large French doors open on to the patio, filling the living area with beautiful coastal light.
A hallway leads away from the living area towards the bedrooms, creating a feeling of space and separation between the two. The generous master bedroom has a window to the front giving views to the ocean, and a large ensuite with a shower over bath. The twin bedroom sits at the rear of the apartment and benefits from a large ensuite with shower. There is a WC off the hallway, perfect for guest use.
Outside Space
To the front of the property is a large, enclosed outside space, purely for the use of the guests at The Trebetherick. The area closest to the apartment is laid to patio with access from the living area, creating a fabulous space for outdoor dining. There is a luscious lawned area with views out to the ocean, a perfect spot to let the kids or dogs run riot!
Parking
The Trebetherick has allocated parking for one car within the gated Ocean Blue complex.
Access
There is one step into the property, but once inside there are no steps or stairs. Externally, all areas are laid to paving or grass, with a gentle slope from the gate to the entrance of the property.
EV charging
It is not permitted to charge electric vehicles at this property.
Linen
Linen and towels are included in the property but please bring your own beach towels.

Pets

TREYARNON BAY…
Voted as Britain’s cleanest beach, Treyarnon is a stunning bay on the North Cornish coast with golden sands and beautiful blue waters. The renowned surfing beach offers an interesting blend of sand, rock pools, caves, and gullies to explore and a natural swimming pool on the Northern side. A north-west facing beach, Treyarnon enjoys simply unforgettable sunsets out on the horizon line.
Up on the cliff there is a café open all year round where you can stop for a drink or a bite to eat, with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the bay. There is also a seasonal shop for essential supplies and a seasonal food van for takeaway food and drinks. With toilets at the top of the beach, you can enjoy a family day on Treyarnon beach with everything you need in reach.
Perfectly situated amidst the popular bays of Constantine and Porthcothan, and linked by the South West Coast Path, you can discover some of the finest coastal landscapes. Just a mile away at the top of Constantine Bay, you can also find the award winning Trevose Golf & Country Club, a championship course with a stunning backdrop.
For further amenities nearby, head to St Merryn. The village offers a mixture of places to eat and drink including Rick Stein’s cosy pub The Cornish Arms. There is a village store, fish and chip shop, bakery, petrol station and more. Another fine place to eat is The Pig over at Harlyn Bay, just a couple of miles from Treyarnon.
Also just a ten minute drive away is Padstow, a picturesque harbour town with a number of superb restaurants, bars, boutique shops and galleries. This bustling town offers a vast variety of food options from Rick Stein’s famous Seafood Restaurant and Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred No.6, to fresh Cornish pasties and fish and chips on the harbour.
