Introduction
Welcome to Armsyde, a generous cottage with a wealth of character and traditional decor, really encompassing this historic location. Laid over three floors internally, the property sleeps up to 8 guests in total. Armsyde comprises charming accommodation and patio garden areas split over two levels.
The cottage offers an enchanting place to create those special holiday memories, with ample space for the family to enjoy. Starting in the heart of the home, the attractive and unique kitchen comprises vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows flooding the room with natural light, with a galleried space looking down into the colourful room. With a cosy log burner by the dining table, this is a wonderful, social room. For those big breakfasts or family dinners in, there is a formal dining room with a larger table to present your feasts. The separate sitting room is a great size, a comfortable space to relax with a movie of an evening. And if you need a time out with a cosy quiet space, there is an extra snug room down the hall. On the other hand, if you’re up for some fun and family competition, there is a games room off the kitchen which includes table football and a pool table, no upper age limit applies!
Armsyde includes four comfortable en-suite bedrooms which are located on the first and second floors, three double rooms and a twin room.

Whether you are visiting in the heady summer months, or enjoying an out-of-season break, Padstow and the surrounding areas are packed to the brim with incredible options for the whole family. For the foodies in the party, the town is home to an amazing array of destination restaurants headed up by some very well-known names. Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred No 6 and Rick Steins flagship Seafood Restaurant offer exemplary fine dining options or try Prawn on The Lawn for memorable dishes and amazing cocktails served in a cosy, funky atmosphere. For a more bespoke option, Padstow Kitchen Garden can create a personalised menu cooked over open flames with a stunning estuary view, a sure-fire hit with the whole family. If a tipple is your thing, the award-winning Trevibban Mill Vineyard is a mere stagger away and offers tours and tastings among its stunning vines.
With the stunning Camel Estuary on your doorstep, why not take advantage of the range of water sports on offer? Hop on the ferry to Rock and book in with the Camel Ski School or Camel Sailing, both of whom offer equipment hire and courses for all and every level of experience. Inside Space
Upon entry, the hallway provides access to the living areas on the ground floor, there is a comfortable sitting room with a smart television, a formal dining room for family feasts, a cosy snug or reading room, a useful downstairs toilet, and a wonderful kitchen and breakfast room with vaulted ceilings looking up to the gallery above. From the kitchen, there is a covered garden room which is home to the games room, perfect for entertaining children with table football and a small pool table.
There are a total of four en-suite bedrooms which are located on the first and second floors. Two double rooms on the first floor, one with a shower room and the other with a bathroom. And the top floor includes another double and one twin room, each with en-suite shower rooms.
Outside Space
Armsyde enjoys a couple of patio areas tucked to the rear of the property. A ground floor patio tucked away from the elements which can be accessed from both the kitchen or snug. And a second patio area at first floor level which is a lovely sun trap, with dining table and chairs, this can be accessed from the ground floor patio, the games room, or the gallery which sits above the kitchen. Please note that there are steep and uneven steps leading to the patio and care must be taken.
Parking
There is no parking with Armsyde. There are multiple car parks within a short walk, the closest being the Link Road car park or the South Quay Harbour Commissioners car park.

Access
The property is laid over three floors, with hard flooring throughout. The ground floor includes a sitting room, dining room (with step down into this room), snug, cloakroom, kitchen and covered external games room. The staircase to the first floor has uneven steps. The first floor contains two en-suite bedrooms and a galleried space leading to the upper courtyard. A second staircase leads to the top floor which contains a further two en-suite bedrooms. There are small steps between the bedrooms and en-suites. The garden contains two patio areas, one at ground floor area accessed from the snug or kitchen, and one at first floor level which can be accessed from the gallery, the games room or lower patio. Please note that there are steep and uneven steps leading to the patio and care must be taken.

Dogs welcome, there is a dog charge of £25 per pet.
Refundable Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of £250 will be taken prior to your stay.

Situated on the west bank of the Camel Estuary, the picturesque harbour town of Padstow is a stunning holiday destination with an energetic vibe, a huge range of superb restaurants and bars, a variety of boutique shops and galleries, and all of this surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
For those days wandering around the town or sitting by the harbour in the sunshine, the tides of the river and the stream of boats sailing in and out of the working fishing port provide an ever changing and simply beautiful scenery to absorb. Stroll further along from the harbour and you reach the gorgeous sandy beaches along the estuary, a beautiful spot to relax and let your cares fly away.
The town has become a famous foodie destination, with celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth taking centre stage, including Rick’s flagship Seafood Restaurant and Paul’s Michelin starred No.6 amongst the empire! With a huge variety through the town including Italian restaurants, fish and chips, delicious pub grub, tempting bakeries and daytime cafés. To go with this there is an equally wide range of bars to enjoy, from cosy pubs to stylish gin and wine bars.
Exploring the winding streets of the town you will also find a selection of clothing and jewellery shops, galleries and more.
During your visit, make the most of the water and take a boat trip out on the estuary, you can choose from a scenic trip on an old lifeboat, a water safari or a high speed trip around the bay! There is also a ferry which runs daily across the water to Rock with even more food options like Paul Ainsworth’s gastro pub The Mariners.
Padstow is also surrounded by other beautiful places, with several stunning sandy beaches along the rugged north Cornish coast just a short drive away. Or by foot, take a hike along the South West Coast Path and explore miles of hidden coves and spectacular scenery. Hire some bikes for the day and try out the Camel Trail, a level cycle route enjoying the same beautiful landscape.
