Padstow is also home to Paul Ainsworth’s highly regarded No 6 and the always buzzing Prawn on The Lawn, as well as an array of seasonal pop-ups. If fine dining isn’t your thing, you can be assured that you are never more than a few metres away from a wide choice of pasty or fish and chip options to keep the whole family fed and happy. If you choose to cook at home, pop to Padstow Farm Shop for a stunning array of locally grown produce, they even have a deli for picnic supplies!
Situated near the mouth of the Camel Estuary, Padstow offers a huge range of activities to tempt the adventurers in your party, including coasteering and paddle boarding, cycling along the renowned Camel Trail cycle path or heading out on a speedboat with Padstow Sea Life Safari. Surf lessons are available on most local beaches or hop on the ferry over to Rock to explore the other side of the estuary. 1 Tregella is a short drive away from some of the UK’s best beaches, so whether you are looking to surf or sunbathe, rockpool or ramble, this stretch of coastline has something for everyone.

Inside Space
Enter in through the sliding doors and straight into the heart of this lovely barn, the open plan kitchen and living room. A big squashy sofa provides the perfect place to lounge after a day’s exploring, and the stylish kitchen has been thoughtfully designed to create space for budding chefs to rustle up everything from BBQs to four course meals. High, vaulted ceilings give the room a feeling of space and light, enhanced by the large sliding doors with views over the garden. Also on the ground floor is a spacious twin bedroom with stunning ensuite shower room. The tonal palette and pops of colour create a restful room with a playful edge, the perfect holiday hideaway.
Up the stairs is the gorgeous master bedroom, which has modern nods to the barn style, with panelled walls and high, beamed ceilings and deep-set windows to keep you cosy on stormy Cornish nights. There is a stunning family bathroom on this floor featuring a walk-in shower, floor to ceiling tiles, and a contemporary suite.
Outside space
1 Tregella has a beautiful rear garden with countryside views, the perfect place for dining outside. Railway sleeper steps lead to a raised seating area, surrounded by considered planting and plenty of room for that all-important BBQ!

1, Tregella has parking for two cars to the side of the property.
Access
From the tarmac parking area there are 2 steps down into the patio, using the sliding doors there is a step over the threshold and into the open plan living room. Once inside, the ground floor is all on one level. There is a twin bedroom and en-suite shower on the ground floor along with the living space. A single flight of stairs leads up to the next bedroom which is a king size room with a shower room adjacent. The garden includes three sleepers steps up to a raised area with slate shingle and a patio area with bench seating.

Situated on the west bank of the Camel Estuary, the picturesque harbour town of Padstow is a stunning holiday destination with an energetic vibe, a huge range of superb restaurants and bars, a variety of boutique shops and galleries, and all of this surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
For those days wandering around the town or sitting by the harbour in the sunshine, the tides of the river and the stream of boats sailing in and out of the working fishing port provide an ever changing and simply beautiful scenery to absorb. Stroll further along from the harbour and you reach the gorgeous sandy beaches along the estuary, a beautiful spot to relax and let your cares fly away.
The town has become a famous foodie destination, with celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth taking centre stage, including Rick’s flagship Seafood Restaurant and Paul’s Michelin starred No.6 amongst the empire! With a huge variety through the town including Italian restaurants, fish and chips, delicious pub grub, tempting bakeries and daytime cafés. To go with this there is an equally wide range of bars to enjoy, from cosy pubs to stylish gin and wine bars.
Exploring the winding streets of the town you will also find a selection of clothing and jewellery shops, galleries and more.
During your visit, make the most of the water and take a boat trip out on the estuary, you can choose from a scenic trip on an old lifeboat, a water safari or a high speed trip around the bay! There is also a ferry which runs daily across the water to Rock with even more food options like Paul Ainsworth’s gastro pub The Mariners.
Padstow is also surrounded by other beautiful places, with several stunning sandy beaches along the rugged north Cornish coast just a short drive away. Or by foot, take a hike along the South West Coast Path and explore miles of hidden coves and spectacular scenery. Hire some bikes for the day and try out the Camel Trail, a level cycle route enjoying the same beautiful landscape.
