Nearby
Treyarnon Bay’s reputation as one of the area’s best beaches is easily justified. With its expanse of fine, golden sand and craggy cliffs, this glorious part of the coast has something to keep every member of the family happy. With lifeguards on patrol from May until September, many happy hours can be spent surfing its fun waves or exploring its critter filled rockpools. If calmer waters are more your thing why not try the tidal pool nestled into the rocks, topped up daily by the ocean and a perfect spot for snorkelling. Pick up the coast path north and wander over to Constantine, a huge arc of golden sand with world class waves, or keep on strolling round Trevose Head, home to the lighthouse and Lifeboat station. Walking South from Treyarnon takes you past Fox Cove and Pepper Cove, both famed smuggling spots from the days when goods were brought ashore away from the watchful eye of the local marshals!
St Merryn village is a short drive away, with plenty of shops and bars including Rick Steins pub, The Cornish Arms. The village is also home to a well-stocked shop, bakery, and surf shop, so all bases are covered! Another five minutes in the car will take you to Padstow, a vibrant harbour town packed full of renowned restaurants, galleries, and a whole host of outdoor activities, perfect for a day out.

We loved our stay and would definitely recommend a stay here. The apartment was practically on the beach with a lovely balcony and beautiful sea views it was heavenly. It was lovely and clean with crisp white bed linen and those excellent white towels that dry you so well. They also left us a lovely welcome gift of Cornish tea and biscuits and a nice bottle of proper lemonade. Treyarnon Bay beach is amazing.
