Within 200 yards of the sandy beach at Harlyn Bay, Tynk is located within a small courtyard setting within sight and sound of the beach.
Tynk (Cornish for Chaffinch) is a spacious and welcoming cottage, ideal for a summer family holiday, or to enjoy the ever changing scenery of the North Cornwall coastline through the seasons.
Sleeping four people, with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs there is a spacious and sociable open plan living space.
With communal gardens to enjoy, or walk to the beach in 2 minutes and make the sand your garden!

The living area is very spacious, a great place to unwind after a busy day at the beach. The sitting area has two sofas and a chair, television and DVD player.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The dining table seats 6.
A bright and spacious room with a king size bed, drawers and hanging space, small sofa and a chair.
A light and airy twin room with two single beds and a chest of drawers.
Bath with shower over, toilet and basin.
There is an allocated parking space in the gravelled area at the end of the cottages.
The gardens are communal, you are welcome to use the chairs and tables within the grounds. There is a rack by the rear door to the kitchen for surf boards.
Dogs are permitted by request.
Wifi is available at the property.
Linen and towels are supplied in the property but please bring your own beach towels.
Home to one of Cornwall’s finest beaches, Harlyn Bay is a superb holiday destination enjoying beautiful scenery and walks, located just a mile from Trevose Golf Course and 3 miles from Padstow. A huge expanse of sand, Harlyn is a great beach for families offering a brilliant surfing and watersports school. The beach is dog friendly all year round. There is a pub, The Harlyn Inn, just opposite the beach with a seasonal shop adjacent.
Five minutes away is Padstow, a striking harbour town offering everything you need all in one place… Stunning coastal walks, gourmet restaurants, galleries and shops, beaches along the estuary, sea life safaris and speed boat trips, and of course as many pasties, ice creams and fish and chip shops as a town can fit!

Trevone Bay – 1 mile
Trevone is lucky enough to have not one but two beaches! A sandy beach, great for surfing and families, with a sheltered aspect tucked between the cliffs. And just around the cliff edge there is a rocky beach, perfect for exploring, you’ll not only find some great rock pools but a large natural pool perfect for a splash! Dogs are permitted out of season. Parking, beach cafe and toilets located at the top of the beach.
Treyarnon Bay – 3 miles
Watch the most amazing sunset from Treyarnon Bay, a beautiful sandy beach offering great surfing and an array of rock pools and caves to explore. With a youth hostel at the top of the cliff to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink or a seasonal van for takeaway food and drinks. Car park and toilets, dog friendly all year round. Take a walk around the headland to Constantine Bay and soak up the scenery.
Constantine Bay – 2 miles
An excellent surfing beach, the bay has rock pools to the left and sand dunes to the right and gentle headland walks in either direction. At low tide it connects with it’s sister beach, Booby’s Bay, giving a stretch of more than half a mile of golden sand. Toilets and a pop up coffee van available, a small amount of parking available by the beach and a larger car park within 100 yards. Dog friendly all year round.
Porthcothan Bay – 5 miles
Nicely positioned between Padstow and Newquay, Porthcothan Bay is a sheltered sandy beach which is not far from Bedruthan Steps, offering the most spectacular coastal walks. Parking and toilets are situated on the other side of the road. Dog friendly all year.

Situated in Padstow, Rick Stein has an array of famous places to eat – The Seafood Restaurant, St Petroc’s Bistro, The Cafe. At the end of the harbour he also has his fish and chips restaurant and take away, a deli and his amazing cookery school.
Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 – 1 mile
Michelin starred Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 is also located in the heart of Padstow, a real fine dining experience. Paul has a superb Italian restaurant in Padstow – Rojano’s in the Square.
Restaurant Nathan Outlaw & Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen – 16 miles
Located in Port Isaac you have the two Michelin star Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, a very memorable dining experience, as well as Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen. Nathan also has The Mariners which is in Rock, all three are a must whilst you are in Cornwall!

Over in Watergate Bay is Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen restaurant, where you can have not only a beautiful meal but enjoy the most stunning views over the beach.
