Nigel, November 2023

Lovely house in the heart of St Merryn. Perfect location to visit Padstow and surrounding areas. The house is spacious with three lovely double rooms and one room with two twins. Ideal for a large family.

Tracey, July 2023

We stayed here for a week and loved it, there were 5 of us plus Lily our dog. The house was great, very spacious and dog friendly, the enclosed garden was ideal. The location is good, St Merryn has all the amenities, fabulous little coffee takeout – Froth, local shop for supplies, good pub and restaurant, short walk to Rick Steins The Cornish Arms serving really good pub food and outside Pizza grill. Short drive to the coast to pick up the coastal paths for spectacular views and lovely beaches. It’s a beautiful part of the world!

Carol, November 2022

The property was excellently located in the centre of the village with easy access to the amenities. It was equipped with all we needed and in fact we didn’t use the living room at all during our stay as we were perfectly comfortable in the spacious kitchen/diner. The garden was secure for our 2 inquisitive dogs, so an added bonus.

Lee, September 2022

Good central location for St Merryn, modern comfortable house with plenty of space for two families.

Dudley, August 2022

The house, space, number of bathrooms and bedrooms were all brilliant. Great location too.

Owen, July 2022

Close to local amenities and the excellent Harlyn beach. Great for a large family and the top floor is lovely.

First location – We stumbled across St Merryn five years ago and have returned several times since. The village has everything you need, all within easy walking distance. It is also a good base to visit other attractions in Cornwall.

Second accommodation – The house is clean, well equipped and generally of a good standard. The layout of the house is also very good, especially with a larger group staying. The top floor bedroom, with balcony is particularly good – views and sunsets exceptional.

Would I recommend this property? Absolutely yes, the location, layout and facilities all come together to make a really good holiday experience.

We thought the property was great value for money, clean and spacious and in a perfect location.  We will definitely be back.

This property is outstanding with a homely feel.  The communication and customer service from the team at Cornish Holiday Cottage was exceptional.  We had the best time, fantastic view from the master bedroom and a lovely balcony to enjoy a cuppa or drink and relax.  The village is well serviced, a bakery, lots of places to eat including Rick Steins Cornish Arms is walkable.  Padstow is a 7 min drive. The fact this property is dog friendly and has a great location means it was a great find and we will be back!

Andrew, June 2021

Beautiful and spacious 4 bedroom detached house with garage and private garden. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Great pub just down the road (Farmers Arms) ate there every night. Harlyn beach just two minutes away by car. Loved it.

Paula, May 2021

This is a beautiful house filled with everything we needed, from kitchen equipment to books & games. The photos were accurate, in fact the house was a but bigger than I thought it looked in the photos. The location was ideal for us, there was a pub, chippy, bakery and general store less than 5 mins walk away. Absolutely loved it.

Lovely house. We stayed as a family of 5 plus dog and felt really at home here. The house was well equipped, clean and comfy and of a really nice standard with a lovely sunny garden. St Merryn is a great location with plenty of nice beaches around and great places to eat/drink within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.
