Dog friendly apartment in the heart of the town centre, with parking



Teal is a spacious apartment situated within the Old Mill Flats, just seconds from the town centre and harbour where you will find a wide range of restaurants, shops and pubs.  The apartment is dog friendly, with a small charge of £25 per dog.


The apartment sleeps four people in two bedrooms.  A large sitting and dining room is in the centre of the flat, with separate kitchen and family bathroom.  The flat is accessed via a communal entrance and a hallway leads to the front door of this flat.  Outside there is a private parking space for one car. PLEASE NOTE that the parking area is suitable for a medium sized vehicle – unfortunately larger vehicles, such as 4×4’s, are not suitable for this parking area.


The location of Teal is fantastic for a family or couples holiday – tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet just moments from the activity of the town centre.


We also have the apartment below available to rent, Cormorant, which includes three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people, providing an ideal opportunity to have a large family holiday sleeping up to 10 people in the two apartments. Local Area

Padstow is a lively harbour town with a fantastic range of restaurants, bars, pubs and shops. Well known for the gourmet restaurants of famous chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, the town is home to several stylish places to eat and drink. The harbour offers a beautiful and ever changing scene, you can also walk to the stunning beaches along the Camel Estuary.


Beaches within a short drive:

Trevone Bay – 2 miles

Trevone is lucky enough to have not one but two beaches! A sandy beach, great for surfing and families, with a sheltered aspect tucked between the cliffs. And just around the cliff edge there is a rocky beach, perfect for exploring, you’ll not only find some great rock pools but a large natural pool perfect for a splash! Dogs are permitted out of season. Parking, beach cafe and toilets located at the top of the beach.


Harlyn Bay – 3 miles

A huge expanse of sand, Harlyn is a great day out with the family offering a brilliant surfing and watersports school. Dog friendly all year round. The beach has a seasonal food truck, car parking at the top of the beach and toilets just down the road.


Treyarnon Bay – 5 miles

Watch the most amazing sunset from Treyarnon Bay, a beautiful sandy beach offering great surfing and an array of rock pools and caves to explore. With a youth hostel at the top of the cliff to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink or a seasonal van for takeaway food and drinks. Car park and toilets, dog friendly all year round. Take a walk around the headland to Constantine Bay and soak up the scenery.


Constantine Bay – 4 miles

An excellent surfing beach, the bay has rock pools to the left and sand dunes to the right and gentle headland walks in either direction.
At low tide it connects with it’s sister beach, Booby’s Bay, giving a stretch of more than half a mile of golden sand. Toilets and a pop up coffee van available, a small amount of parking available by the beach and a larger car park within 100 yards. Dog friendly all year round.


Porthcothan Bay – 5 miles

Nicely positioned between Padstow and Newquay, Porthcothan Bay is a sheltered sandy beach which is not far from Bedruthan Steps, offering the most spectacular coastal walks. Parking and toilets are situated on the other side of the road. Dog friendly all year.


Mawgan Porth – 7 miles

A stunning surfing beach, perfect for families with plenty of rockpools, caves and a stream running down one side of the beach. Mawgan Porth has plenty of amenities opposite the beach, a pub, shops, parking, toilets and places to eat. Dog friendly all year round.
