Number 15, Retallack Resort
A two bedroom lodge with spacious living area and decked terrace, situated on the popular Retallack Resort, with access to site facilities.
Spacious and comfortable holiday accommodation comprising a lovely social open plan living area including a well-equipped, modern kitchen and sliding doors opening to the decked garden which is ideal for al fresco dining with table & chairs supplied. The accommodation is all located on the ground floor of the holiday lodge, with two bedrooms and a bathroom, sleeping 4 people in total.
The site enjoys a range of facilities which are included in the price – indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness suite and children’s outdoor play area. On site and available at extra cost is the Lookout restaurant, bar and family lounge, health and beauty facilities, carp fishing lake, aqua park, wakeboarding lake, an artificial wave machine – the Flow-rider and more.
The accommodation is just the ground floor of the lodge, for use of the full lodge including four bedrooms you can view “The Burrow”.

The kitchen area comprises a built in electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster and microwave.

A large double room with a super king bed (6’) zip & link (can be twin beds), wardrobe and chest of drawers.
A smaller room with double bed, wardrobe with drawers under.
Bath, separate shower, twin wash hand basins, toilet.
There is a large decked terrace with table and chairs.
Allocated parking for two vehicles to the side of the lodge.
BEDDING AND LINEN
Bed linen and towels are provided, please bring your own towels for using on the beach or spa facilities.
Wifi is available in the lodge.
Dogs are permitted in the property. There is an extra £25 charge per dog.
Positioned within beautiful countryside, with easy access to the A39 only minutes away, you are well placed to explore Cornwall. Only a short drive to several golden beaches of the North Coast or if you would rather stay on site there is plenty to keep you occupied… Put your surfing skills to the test on the Flow Rider, take the ‘total wipeout’ style challenge on the inflatable Aqua Park, take a fishing lesson, walk on water with the water orbs or stand up paddle boarding, whether you are a first timer or a pro take the plunge into the lake for some serious wakeboarding or if you just feel like some sand between your toes, grab a deck chair and relax on the Retallack beach!
The watersports may be pay per use, but the site has plenty of other activities which are included in your stay… An indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, gym, 5k run route, kids club and more! There is a shop on site and a restaurant too, making life as easy as possible.
Just a ten minute drive away is Padstow, a striking harbour town offering everything you need all in one place… Stunning coastal walks, gourmet restaurants, galleries and shops, beaches along the estuary, sea life safaris and speed boat trips, and of course as many pasties, ice creams and fish and chip shops as a town can fit!
Beaches within a short drive:
Trevone Bay – 8 miles
Trevone is lucky enough to have not one but two beaches! A sandy beach, great for surfing and families, with a sheltered aspect tucked between the cliffs. And just around the cliff edge there is a rocky beach, perfect for exploring, you’ll not only find some great rock pools but a large natural pool perfect for a splash! Dogs are permitted out of season. Parking, beach cafe and toilets located at the top of the beach.
Harlyn Bay – 9 miles
A huge expanse of sand, Harlyn is a great day out with the family offering a brilliant surfing and watersports school. Dog friendly all year round. The Harlyn Inn is just over the road, seasonal burger van and car parking at the top of the beach and toilets just down the road.
Treyarnon Bay – 10 miles
Watch the most amazing sunset from Treyarnon Bay, a beautiful sandy beach offering great surfing and an array of rock pools and caves to explore. With a youth hostel at the top of the cliff to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink or a seasonal van for takeaway food and drinks. Car park and toilets, dog friendly all year round. Take a walk around the headland to Constantine Bay and soak up the scenery.
Constantine Bay – 9 miles
An excellent surfing beach, the bay has rock pools to the left and sand dunes to the right and gentle headland walks in either direction. At low tide it connects with it’s sister beach, Booby’s Bay, giving a stretch of more than half a mile of golden sand. Toilets and a pop up coffee van available, a small amount of parking available by the beach and a larger car park within 100 yards. Dog friendly all year round.
Porthcothan Bay – 8 miles
Nicely positioned between Padstow and Newquay, Porthcothan Bay is a sheltered sandy beach which is not far from Bedruthan Steps, offering the most spectacular coastal walks. Parking and toilets are situated on the other side of the road. Dog friendly all year.
Mawgan Porth – 7 miles
A stunning surfing beach, perfect for families with plenty of rockpools, caves and a stream running down one side of the beach. Mawgan Porth has plenty of amenities opposite the beach, a pub, shops, parking, toilets and places to eat. Dog friendly all year round.
Watergate Bay – 9 miles
A simply beautiful stretch of coastline, Watergate bay offers a huge expanse of sand and perfect conditions for surfing and watersports. With the Extreme Academy located on the beach side, there is plenty of activities to get involved in. There is a beach side cafe, restaurant, shop, toilets and parking. Dog friendly all year.
Fistral Beach – 10 miles
A renowned surfing beach situated in Newquay, Fistral offers a wide stretch of golden sand and an amazing spot for getting in the water. Plenty of places to eat and drink on the beach including Rick Steins restaurant, shops, toilets and parking. Dog friendly all year round.

Situated in Padstow, Rick Stein has an array of famous places to eat – The Seafood Restaurant, St Petroc’s Bistro, The Cafe. At the end of the harbour he also has his fish and chips restaurant and take away, a deli and his amazing cookery school.
Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 – 8 miles
Michelin starred Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 is also located in the heart of Padstow, a real fine dining experience. Paul has a superb Italian restaurant in Padstow – Rojano’s in the Square.
Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen & The Mariners – 14 miles
Located in Port Isaac you have the two Michelin star Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, a very memorable dining experience, as well as Outlaw’s Fish Kitchen. Nathan also has The Mariners which is in Rock, all three are a must whilst you are in Cornwall!
