A short car journey will take you to any of the local “Seven Bays for Seven Days” for which the area is renowned, just pack your bucket and spade! Harlyn Bay has the long golden sands and gentle breakers perfect for beginner surf lessons, or for the explorers in the party, head to Booby’s Bay at low tide for world-class rockpools. Mother Ivey’s Bay is the best spot to see the lifeboat crashing down its ramp into the ocean on practice days, or spend the day pitched up on the beautiful sand at Constantine, jumping in and out of the ocean and drying off in the dunes. Both Trevone and Treyarnon have tidal pools, perfect for those days when the ocean is a bit rough, or head to the sheltered bay at Porthcothan for a dip at high tide.
Once you have worked up an appetite in the waves, head into Padstow for a refuel where you will find food options around every corner. The house is comfortable, well equipped. It was really nice to have radiators on rainy day.

Good value, good location, good size, minimalistic
Alyson, September 2022
The accommodation was as described, it was well equipped with everything needed plus extras. The location was good for visiting the surrounding area or in our case close to the South West Coast Path. We travelled as a couple, but books and toys were provided if travelling with children and there is a fenced garden where they can play. The beaches and coast walks are stunning, and the close proximity to Padstow makes it an ideal base to stay. We were very lucky with the weather and had a very enjoyable stay.
