This beautiful stone cottage is situated in Little Petherick, a small hamlet within just two miles of Padstow. The ‘Saints Way’, an ancient waterside walk which leads to Padstow, can be accessed at the bottom of the road. The market town of Wadebridge is just four miles distant, and several sandy beaches are within a short drive.


The cottage offers three bedroom accommodation suitable for six guests. The three bedrooms offer double, twin and bunk beds, the bunks are suitable for children. There is a light and bright sitting / dining room which overlooks the front garden, and separate kitchen with access to the sheltered rear garden.

Little Petherick

Offering a quiet position ideal for a retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of the town, yet just a 5 minute drive into Padstow.  You can walk into Padstow along the Saints Way, the footpath follows alongside the creek offering a beautiful scenic walk into town.  The Old Mill House has a Bistro which is open 5 days a week which is just along the road from the cottage, a lovely place to stop for dinner. Within a few minutes you also have The Pickwick Inn, The Journeyman and The Ring O’ Bells.



Five minutes away is Padstow, a striking harbour town offering everything you need all in one place… Stunning coastal walks, gourmet restaurants, galleries and shops, beaches along the estuary, sea life safaris and speed boat trips, and of course as many pasties, ice creams and fish and chip shops as a town can fit!


Beaches within a short drive:

Trevone Bay – 3 miles

Trevone is lucky enough to have not one but two beaches! A sandy beach, great for surfing and families, with a sheltered aspect tucked between the cliffs. And just around the cliff edge there is a rocky beach, perfect for exploring, you’ll not only find some great rock pools but a large natural pool perfect for a splash! Dogs are permitted out of season. Parking, beach cafe and toilets located at the top of the beach.


Harlyn Bay – 4 miles

A huge expanse of sand, Harlyn is a great day out with the family offering a brilliant surfing and watersports school. Dog friendly all year round. The beach has a seasonal food truck, car parking at the top of the beach and toilets just down the road.


Treyarnon Bay – 5 miles

Watch the most amazing sunset from Treyarnon Bay, a beautiful sandy beach offering great surfing and an array of rock pools and caves to explore. With a youth hostel at the top of the cliff to sit and have a bite to eat and a drink or a seasonal van for takeaway food and drinks. Car park and toilets, dog friendly all year round. Take a walk around the headland to Constantine Bay and soak up the scenery.


Constantine Bay – 4 miles

An excellent surfing beach, the bay has rock pools to the left and sand dunes to the right and gentle headland walks in either direction.
At low tide it connects with it’s sister beach, Booby’s Bay, giving a stretch of more than half a mile of golden sand. Toilets and a pop up coffee van available, a small amount of parking available by the beach and a larger car park within 100 yards. Dog friendly all year round.


Porthcothan Bay – 5 miles

Nicely positioned between Padstow and Newquay, Porthcothan Bay is a sheltered sandy beach which is not far from Bedruthan Steps, offering the most spectacular coastal walks. Parking and toilets are situated on the other side of the road. Dog friendly all year.


Mawgan Porth – 7 miles

A stunning surfing beach, perfect for families with plenty of rockpools, caves and a stream running down one side of the beach. Mawgan Porth has plenty of amenities opposite the beach, a pub, shops, parking, toilets and places to eat. Dog friendly all year round.
