Park up, chuck the bags in the bedrooms and head to the beach! Lavender Cottage is a super option for a relaxed family holiday, giving you the space to focus on just having fun. St Merryn Holiday Park is fabulously located for exploring the areas stunning coastline, as well as the many attractions the area has to offer. Also benefiting from an onsite bar and restaurant, tennis courts and an enclosed dog-walking field, you will find plenty of activities to keep the whole family (including the furry ones!) happy.

Close to everything, yet tucked away, Lavender Cottage is perfectly placed to offer easy access to the areas many attractions. Keep the kids entertained in all weathers at Camel Creek Adventure Park or book them in for a climbing lesson at The Tide Climbing Centre, both located a couple of miles from the cottage. When the sun is shining, head to the coast and explore the hidden coves and rockpools at the local beaches, as this area is known as having “Seven Bays for Seven Days” you will be spoilt for choice!

 

St Merryn village is a short drive away, offering all you could need for your holiday essentials. As well as a general store, bakery, fish and chip shop, garage, and surf shop, this small but lively village is home to several pubs and restaurants, all of which serve food all year round. With the famed foodie town of Padstow just five miles away, there are plenty of options for all tastes and budgets.

Inside Space

Comfortably sitting six people, and with a log burner at its heart, the open plan sitting and dining area is a spacious and welcoming space to relax in after a hard day exploring. The kitchen is well-equipped and leads into a bright conservatory which bursts with warm, natural light. The three bedrooms lead off the living space, and offer a selection of sleeping options, with a bunk room, a twin bedroom, and a comfy master room with a king sized bed. A family bathroom with shower over bath completes the inside space.

 

Outside Space

Lavender Cottage has a private and enclosed rear garden with outdoor seating, a perfect spot for evening BBQ’s with the family.

 

Parking

There is parking for two cars on the gravel area at the front of the property.

 

Access

Lavender Cottage has level access from the parking area to the front door and has no internal steps or stairs. There is one step over the door sill from the conservatory to the garden, and the exterior lawns are level.

 

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of £250 will be taken prior to your stay.

It is not permitted to charge electric vehicles at this property.

ST MERRYN…

 

St Merryn Park itself hosts a convenience shop, onsite bar and restaurant, football and tennis courts, children’s play area and dog walking area. The popular village of St Merryn is just a mile away.

 

Central to a series of beautiful beaches on the north Cornish coast, St Merryn is at the heart of ‘seven bays for seven days’. Take your pick from Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Constantine Bay, Porthcothan Bay, Mother Ivy’s Bay, Booby’s Bay and more, all within a couple of miles of the village.

 

 

The village has everything you need on your doorstep, including a well stocked village store, delicious bakery, pubs and bars, restaurants and take-aways, a petrol station and more. Try out Rick Stein’s take on pub food at The Cornish Arms, or for another superb dining experience there is The Pig within two miles.

 

Take to the water and get involved at Harlyn Surf School, where you can learn to surf, or try your hand at coasteering, kayaking or paddle boarding. For those seeking the opportunity to use one of England’s most prestigious golf courses, the award winning Trevose Golf Club is just a mile away. Or for a simple breath of fresh air, the South West Coast Path offers a breathtaking scenic hike along the rugged coastline.

 

 

Also just a ten minute drive away is Padstow, a picturesque harbour town with a number of superb restaurants, bars, boutique shops and galleries. This bustling town offers a vast variety of food options from Rick Stein’s famous Seafood Restaurant and Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred No.6, to fresh Cornish pasties and fish and chips on the harbour.
