Set out over three floors, the accommodation offers four spacious bedrooms sleeping eight guests, and as this property is decidedly dog- friendly, there is plenty of room for the furrier ones in the family too! Decorated in a beautiful coastal style, No 4 has the perfect layout for holiday life, offering a fabulous and relaxing base for your party, whatever the season.

Situated near the mouth of the Camel Estuary, Padstow offers a huge range of activities to tempt the adventurers in your party, including coasteering and paddle boarding, cycling along the renowned Camel Trail cycle path or heading out on a speedboat with Padstow Sea Life Safari. Surf lessons are available on most local beaches or hop on the ferry over to Rock to explore the other side of the estuary. The Southwest Coast Path will take you towards Harlyn Bay and Trevose Head, walk as far as you can then check out the bus routes for a speedier trip back!!

 

Padstow is home to a large selection of eateries, including Rick Steins flagship, the Seafood Restaurant as well as Paul Ainsworth’s highly regarded No 6 and the always buzzing Prawn On The Lawn. If fine dining isn’t your thing, you can be assured that you are never more than a few metres away from a wide choice of pasty or fish and chip options to keep the whole family fed and happy. Look out for seasonal pop-ups from some well-regarded chefs, they have a habit of appearing where you least expect them!

Inside Space

A townhouse of generous proportions, you arrive to a well-lit hallway which leads to the pristine, open plan kitchen and dining area, fitted with everything you need to cook up a storm, should you choose to! With access to the enclosed rear courtyard from the dining area, there is plenty of room for kids and dogs to wander in and out safely. The cosy and modern sitting area has a Scandi-Luxe feel, with plenty of sofa and beanbag spots for the whole family to chillout together. The ground floor hallway also has a WC and plenty of room for coats and boots, should the weather be less than sunny!

 

The coastal vibe continues on the first floor, with white-washed floorboards and a relaxing colour palette of blues and greys which echo beautifully with the views of sea and sky. This floor is home to a spacious king size bedroom, a small double, and a bunk room, perfect for the smaller ones in the party. A large, light-filled family bathroom leads off the landing, with views over to Rock and Daymer Bay.

 

Up another flight of stairs to the top of the house, you will find a spacious master bedroom with a small double bed, with breath-taking views over the estuary and out to sea. This truly is a room in which to take time-out and relax. 

 

Outside Space

The rear courtyard is enclosed with a storage shed which houses extra outdoor tables and chairs if needed.

 

Parking

On street parking is available outside the property on a first come first served basis, however there are a number of car parks close by if a space is not available.

 

Access

No 4 is set over three floors, the first staircase has 14 treads, and the second set has 12, both with a turn halfway. There is no bathroom on the upper floor.

 

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of £250 will be taken prior to your stay.

Situated on the west bank of the Camel Estuary, the picturesque harbour town of Padstow is a stunning holiday destination with an energetic vibe, a huge range of superb restaurants and bars, a variety of boutique shops and galleries, and all of this surrounded by gorgeous scenery.

 

For those days wandering around the town or sitting by the harbour in the sunshine, the tides of the river and the stream of boats sailing in and out of the working fishing port provide an ever changing and simply beautiful scenery to absorb. Stroll further along from the harbour and you reach the gorgeous sandy beaches along the estuary, a beautiful spot to relax and let your cares fly away.

 

  

 

The town has become a famous foodie destination, with celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth taking centre stage, including Rick’s flagship Seafood Restaurant and Paul’s Michelin starred No.6 amongst the empire! With a huge variety through the town including Italian restaurants, fish and chips, delicious pub grub, tempting bakeries and daytime cafés. To go with this there is an equally wide range of bars to enjoy, from cosy pubs to stylish gin and wine bars.

 

Exploring the winding streets of the town you will also find a selection of clothing and jewellery shops, galleries and more.

 

  

 

During your visit, make the most of the water and take a boat trip out on the estuary, you can choose from a scenic trip on an old lifeboat, a water safari or a high speed trip around the bay! There is also a ferry which runs daily across the water to Rock with even more food options like Paul Ainsworth’s gastro pub The Mariners.

 

Padstow is also surrounded by other beautiful places, with several stunning sandy beaches along the rugged north Cornish coast just a short drive away. Or by foot, take a hike along the South West Coast Path and explore miles of hidden coves and spectacular scenery. Hire some bikes for the day and try out the Camel Trail, a level cycle route enjoying the same beautiful landscape.
