Situated on the outstanding Retallack resort, Number 64 is a fantastic holiday lodge with plenty of space to get the whole family together. With bright and airy accommodation and multiple sociable spaces, this lovely lodge is the perfect base from which to explore the on-site activities and the surrounding areas.
Introduction
Whether you are enjoying the extensive on-site facilities or heading out to explore the stunning Cornish coast and countryside, Number 64 is a fabulous place to have as your holiday HQ! This is a holiday home in the truest sense, with a laid-back atmosphere and plenty of room for guests to spread out and relax. An open plan living area with sliding doors onto a spacious decked terrace is a wonderful spot for those sunnier days, whilst a second cosy sitting room upstairs provides a retreat for cooler times. The lodge has four spacious bedrooms, two of which can be configured as super-kings or twins, offering flexibility for family groups.
Nearby
Retallack has a huge range of on-site activities for the water babies in the party, including wakeboarding, an inflatable aqua park and the Flow Rider, Cornwall’s only surf simulator. These activities must be booked directly with Retallack and will incur a fee which is payable directly to the resort. Activities included in the cost of your stay include the indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, fitness suite and the children’s outdoor play area. If a beach day is more your thing, you are spoilt for choice. A short car journey will take you to any of the “Seven Bays for Seven Days” for which the area is renowned, just pack your bucket and spade! Once you have worked up an appetite in the waves, head into Padstow for a refuel where you will find food options around every corner. Keep an eye out for seasonal pop-ups serving everything from Tacos to Burgers, or pop to Padstow Farm Shop for locally reared meat and veg to cook up a storm back at the lodge.
Accommodation
Inside Space
With spacious and light accommodation throughout, Number 64 is a cheery and welcoming lodge, well equipped to suit your holiday needs. From the entrance hall, doors lead off to two of the bedrooms, a spacious super-king room that can also be laid out as a twin, and a smaller twin room. A convenient family bathroom sits adjacent to these bedrooms and comprises of a modern white suite with a bath, separate shower, and twin sinks. The end of the hall opens out to an open plan living area with large sliding doors to the decked terrace, allowing natural light to flood the room. To your left sits a modern kitchen with gas hob and seating for eight people, plenty of space for relaxed holiday dining. Head upstairs to find a fantastic lounge with vaulted ceilings, large A frame window and sliding door leading onto a balcony, a wonderful second space in which to relax. Tucked behind are two further bedrooms, a double room, and a twin (another zip-and-link which can be prepared as a super-king on request) plus a shower room and WC for the upstairs guests.
Outside Space
From the open plan kitchen diner, sliding doors lead out to a large, decked terrace with outdoor dining furniture to seat 6. From the upstairs living area, a balcony with a gorgeous outlook overlooks the beautiful rolling countryside.
Parking
There is parking for two cars adjacent to the lodge.
Access
There is a gently sloping path which extends from the gravelled parking area to the entrance. One internal staircase and level accommodation on each floor.
Refundable security deposit
A refundable security deposit of £250 will be taken prior to your stay.
EV charging
Please do not charge electric vehicles via the electricity supply at Number 64.

Positioned within beautiful countryside, with easy access to the A39 only minutes away, you are well placed to explore Cornwall. Only a short drive to several golden beaches of the North Coast or if you would rather stay on site there is plenty to keep you occupied… Put your surfing skills to the test on the Flow Rider, take the ‘total wipeout’ style challenge on the inflatable Aqua Park, take a fishing lesson, walk on water with the water orbs or stand up paddle boarding, whether you are a first timer or a pro take the plunge into the lake for some serious wakeboarding or if you just feel like some sand between your toes, grab a deck chair and relax on the Retallack beach!
The watersports may be pay per use, but the site has plenty of other activities which are included in your stay… An indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, gym, 5k run route, kids club and more! There is a shop on site and a restaurant too, making life as easy as possible.
Retallack is centrally positioned close to several stunning beaches along the north Cornish coast, including Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay, Fistral Beach, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay and more.
The striking harbour town of Padstow is also within a fifteen minute drive, offering everything you need all in one place… Stunning coastal walks, gourmet restaurants, galleries and shops, beaches along the estuary, sea life safaris and speed boat trips, and of course as many pasties, ice creams and fish and chip shops as a town can fit!
