Ground Floor

Entering into the main hallway, the generous proportions of this lovely townhouse are immediately apparent. The wooden floors throughout the ground floor give a seamless transition between spaces, yet there are plenty of areas to escape and find a quiet spot should you want to. To your right is a serene front room, complete with a large bay window to let in that lovely coastal light, a perfect spot for family movie night, or to hide away with a holiday read. To the rear of the house is a fantastic modern extension, designed with get-togethers in mind. A sleek, handle less kitchen with large island becomes the centrepiece of the room, and is the perfect spot to rustle up those holiday feasts, or throw together a picnic before you head out for the day. A large wooden dining table with bench seating sits

below expansive skylights which bathe the room in light, and triple sliding doors lead out onto the rear terraced garden. This wonderful connection to the outside enhances the coastal styling and natural aesthetic that imbues the whole property and is a superb addition to the ground floor. Completing this floor is a useful WC and shower room, perfect for visitors.

For those days wandering around the town or sitting by the harbour in the sunshine, the tides of the river and the stream of boats sailing in and out of the working fishing port provide an ever changing and simply beautiful scenery to absorb. Stroll further along from the harbour and you reach the gorgeous sandy beaches along the estuary, a beautiful spot to relax and let your cares fly away.

The town has become a famous foodie destination, with celebrity chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth taking centre stage, including Rick’s flagship Seafood Restaurant and Paul’s Michelin starred No.6 amongst the empire! With a huge variety through the town including Italian restaurants, fish and chips, delicious pub grub, tempting bakeries and daytime cafés. To go with this there is an equally wide range of bars to enjoy, from cosy pubs to stylish gin and wine bars.

During your visit, make the most of the water and take a boat trip out on the estuary, you can choose from a scenic trip on an old lifeboat, a water safari or a high speed trip around the bay! There is also a ferry which runs daily across the water to Rock with even more food options like Paul Ainsworth’s gastro pub The Mariners.

Padstow is also surrounded by other beautiful places, with several stunning sandy beaches along the rugged north Cornish coast just a short drive away. Or by foot, take a hike along the South West Coast Path and explore miles of hidden coves and spectacular scenery. Hire some bikes for the day and try out the Camel Trail, a level cycle route enjoying the same beautiful landscape.
