For the foodies in the party, the town is home to an amazing array of destination restaurants headed up by some very well-known names. Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred No 6 and Rick Steins flagship Seafood Restaurant offer exemplary fine dining options or try Prawn on The Lawn for memorable dishes and amazing cocktails served in a cosy, funky atmosphere. For a more bespoke option, Padstow Kitchen Garden can create a personalised menu cooked over open flames with a stunning estuary view, a sure-fire hit with the whole family. If a tipple is your thing, the award-winning Trevibban Mill Vineyard is a mere stagger away and offers tours and tastings among its stunning vines.

 

With the stunning Camel Estuary just a short drive away, why not take advantage of the range of water sports on offer? Hop on the ferry to Rock and book in with the Camel Ski School or Camel Sailing, both of whom offer equipment hire and courses for all and every level of experience. Inside Space

Sleek, modern interiors feature a striking monochrome palette, which is brought to life by the accents of nature that are framed beautifully by large expanses of glass. Bursts of colour from Lavender borders in the wonderfully landscaped gardens bring natural elements into this bright space and forge a link between the equally impressive indoor and outdoor spaces. A huge open concept living, dining and kitchen area create a superb entertaining space and feature a beautifully appointed kitchen and utility room, a must when on holiday with the family. Doors slide open to the garden, perfect for sunny days eating al fresco. Tucked to the side is a comfortable lounge area with sofas around the television and panel fire, a cosy family hub to retire to at the end of a long day of fun. Additionally on this floor are two comfortable bedroom suites, a spacious king room and a twin room, each with private en-suite showers.

 

A further three bedrooms can be found on the first floor, each with built in wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. A superking bedroom suite features a dressing area and a wonderful balcony which offers sea glimpses from the front of the home.

Space abounds in the further two bedrooms, a king room and a twin, and large windows on the eastern side frame the sun rising over the fields.

 

Outside Space

The homes modern styling continues outside, where sleek landscaping and coastal planting combines with Cornish stone walling, creating a wonderful outside space. A hot tub bubbles away in a sheltered spot, while the extensive patio area provides a wonderful setting for outdoor get-togethers. The separate games room has a pool table, dart board and seating areas.

 

Parking

Parking for three vehicles on the driveway.

 

Access

Level access to the front of the house, gravelled from the parking areas and paved around the house. There are steps leading to the games room in the garden. One flight of Oak stairs internally to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

 

Refundable security deposit

A refundable security deposit of £250 will be taken prior to your stay.

There is an EV charger fitted on the driveway.

Free Wi-Fi is available in the property.

 

Pets

ST MERRYN…

 

Central to a series of beautiful beaches on the north Cornish coast, St Merryn is at the heart of ‘seven bays for seven days’. Take your pick from Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Constantine Bay, Porthcothan Bay, Mother Ivy’s Bay, Booby’s Bay and more, all within a couple of miles of the village.

 

  

 

The village has everything you need on your doorstep, including a well stocked village store, delicious bakery, pubs and bars, restaurants and take-aways, a petrol station and more. Try out Rick Stein’s take on pub food at The Cornish Arms, or for another superb dining experience there is The Pig within two miles.

 

Take to the water and get involved at Harlyn Surf School, where you can learn to surf, or try your hand at coasteering, kayaking or paddle boarding. For those seeking the opportunity to use one of England’s most prestigious golf courses, the award winning Trevose Golf Club is just a mile away. Or for a simple breath of fresh air, the South West Coast Path offers a breathtaking scenic hike along the rugged coastline.

 

  

 

Also just a ten minute drive away is Padstow, a picturesque harbour town with a number of superb restaurants, bars, boutique shops and galleries. This bustling town offers a vast variety of food options from Rick Stein’s famous Seafood Restaurant and Paul Ainsworth’s Michelin starred No.6, to fresh Cornish pasties and fish and chips on the harbour.
