Inside Space
Built with the beach in mind, the spacious entrance lobby has plenty of room to ditch the boards and bags after a trip to the beach, or indeed the muddy wellies if the weather has turned! This useful area gives way to the central hallway, where the vaulted ceilings and stone tiled floors are flooded with light from large French doors which open onto the patio and entertaining space which sits cocooned by the two wings of the house. The open plan kitchen and dining area lead directly off this beautiful space and create a wonderful flow between indoors and outdoors. The country-style kitchen features an electric Aga, perfect for when the weather is cooler and holiday feasts are prepared inside. A useful utility room with access to outside leads off the kitchen and works as an alternative entrance for sand-covered kids.
The cosy lounge features a multi-fuel log burner set within a slate hearth, a wonderful place for evening boardgames or a glass of something lovely by the fire. The beamed vaulted ceiling and wooden floor create a feeling of warmth and space, and two windows reveal glimpses towards the bay.
Three bedrooms are on this floor, including the spacious master with ensuite which enjoys views over the rear garden. Two further bedrooms sit either side of the family bathroom, these are configured as one double and one twin. Both of these lovely rooms feature vaulted ceilings and oak beams, and are decorated with coastal touches.
The lower ground floor is accessed by stairs from the dining area and is the perfect kids holiday zone. Housing a games room which features a superb pool table, this bonus area also has access to the back garden, so the games can continue outside when the sun shines.
