Accommodation

Inside Space

The interiors at The Cot are set up for family living. The spacious hallway provides a perfect place for beach gear, flip-flops (or wellies!) and coats, and leads into the large, light kitchen. Vaulted ceilings draw in that incredible coastal light and echo the light blues and sun-bleached colours that feature in this space. The family’s practical needs are catered for, with a huge fridge freezer, perfect for those BBQ essentials! French doors lead out onto a side patio which has a large table and chairs for outside dining, and a huge window floods the dining area with light and once again, the epic views of the bay.

Stairs lead up to the mezzanine living area, a cosy space in the eaves of the house. Kitted out with a telescope and binoculars, this a perfect vantage point for wildlife watching, and is a special place to be if the weather turns and a storm rolls in! An equally lovely room for movie nights or just relaxing, whilst still enjoying those coastal views.

All four bedrooms are on the ground floor, two on the ocean side and two facing the front of the house. There are two bathrooms adjacent to the bedrooms, both with WC’s and baths with shower over.

The ground floor layout also includes a sunroom, which provides another lovely space to curl up with a book, a utility room with drying rack and a handy wet room, perfect for when those sandy feet have come right from the beach! The utility room has access from the front of the home, creating a great space for storing boards, wetsuits, and other beach gear.

Outside space

PLEASE NOTE: Use of the steps that lead directly to the beach is at your own risk. The stability of these steps can change with each tide, and we recommend that the beach is accessed via the steps 40m down the road.
